Table Lamps

Table lamps are one of the primary varieties of lamps (other include ceiling lamps and floor lamps). The modern table lamp is used for reading and providing a space on which people can do whatever kind of manual work that they need to do such as writing, studying or playing a game. The history of the table lamp goes back almost as far as the idea of lamps themselves, with people in past eras often setting lanterns on tables as a kind of simple table lamp. Throughout the centuries, more decorative table lamps were developed.
